DevOps Manager
Indexed description
WMG Product & Services (part of Wireless Media Group) is a strategic partner for digital growth and transformation. Through technology, performance, and innovation, we help organizations build and scale digital ecosystems-from platforms, data, and monetization to marketing, growth, and AdTech solutions. With specialized teams across digital products, marketing technologies, e-commerce, and business systems, we turn ambitious ideas into measurable business results.
About the Role
As a DevOps Manager, you will lead one of WMG's most important transformations - the migration from our on-prem data center to AWS. You will own the architecture of our infrastructure end to end, shape a multidisciplinary team covering DevOps, system administration, and IT support, and drive cloud adoption together with new ways of working in which AI is part of the team's daily practice.
You will partner closely with the Head of Development, Value Managers, and Solution Architects, translating product and delivery priorities into infrastructure decisions — while keeping high-traffic media portals and business-critical systems running reliably every day. This role offers the opportunity to leave a strong personal mark on both processes and people.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the migration from our on-prem data center to AWS - strategy, architecture, execution, and cost
- Own the architecture of our infrastructure across cloud and on-prem, and the standards that keep it coherent
- Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team covering DevOps, system administration, and IT support
- Build security into the architecture and run it day to day - access management, vulnerability and patch management, monitoring, and incident response
- Design for resilience and scale - high availability, disaster recovery, and clear RTO/RPO targets for high-traffic systems
- Make development teams faster - self-service environments, a solid CI/CD platform, shorter feedback loops
- Set the DevOps roadmap and reshape how the team works, with AI as part of daily engineering practice
- Define service levels, maintenance and upgrade cycles, and infrastructure compliance with our ISO standards
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years in DevOps/Cloud, including at least 3 in a leadership role
- Demonstrated experience leading a cloud migration to AWS
- Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS, CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, and automation
- Solid experience with infrastructure security, high availability, and disaster recovery
- Track record of building and developing teams, setting standards, and driving initiatives from idea to execution
- Proactivity, curiosity, and a continuous learning mindset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, balancing support with standard-setting
What We Offer
- The opportunity to shape and build a team, develop new expertise, and implement modern DevOps practices
- A collaborative, innovative, and supportive work environment
- Professional growth, continuous learning, and space to make a personal impact
- Hybrid work model and flexible working arrangements
- Health benefits package
If you’re passionate about leading teams, driving cloud transformation, and building the next generation of DevOps practices - we’d love to hear from you.
