Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

Our client, a growing engineering and consulting organization, is seeking an Infrastructure DevOps Engineer to join their collaborative IT team. This is a unique opportunity for a senior technical professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, leading infrastructure initiatives, mentoring junior engineers, and influencing the future of IT operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead enterprise infrastructure projects and modernization initiatives (approximately 60–70% of the role)
• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar technologies
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment processes
• Develop APIs, automation scripts, and integrations using Python and PowerShell
• Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Support and optimize ERP and financial systems, including integrations between business applications
• Develop Power Automate workflows that improve operational efficiency
• Provide Level III technical support for complex infrastructure issues
• Mentor a Junior DevOps Engineer and provide technical leadership across the team
• Partner with business stakeholders to recommend and implement technology solutions
• Serve as a trusted senior technical resource and provide leadership support for the IT Director when needed

What We're Looking For

• 6–8+ years of Infrastructure, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering experience
• Strong DevOps background with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Advanced Python and PowerShell scripting skills
• Azure Cloud experience preferred (other cloud platforms considered)
• Experience supporting ERP or financial systems and system integrations
• Experience with containerization and automation technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and Level III support experience
• Previous mentoring or technical leadership experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Self-starter who thrives in a remote environment and takes ownership of projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Microsoft Azure certifications
• Experience supporting business systems such as ERP, HRIS, expense management, or project management platforms

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $90,000–$110,000
• 10% Annual Bonus
• Three weeks PTO
