Cloud and Embedded Systems Engineer (IoT / Energy Platforms)

Own the cloud backbone behind connected devices, taking systems from first deployment to reliable production operation.

Description

Build and monitor containerized services. Startup hands-on environment where autonomy and accountability matter more than hierarchy.

Experience

Proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud systems that interact with embedded devices. Experience running production systems from prototyping through scaling and long-term maintenance.

Technical skills

• Strong knowledge of containerized systems with Docker.
• Experience building and maintaining monitoring and observability stacks (for example Grafana, metrics, and logging).
• Good knowledge of cloud databases.
• Experience with system security, authentication, access control, and secure communication (MQTT / REST / Modbus) between services and devices.
• Familiarity with embedded Linux-based systems and networking fundamentals.
• Ability to integrate cloud infrastructure with embedded hardware.

Soft skills

Languages

• Spanish: Conversational.
• English: Professional.

Legal requirements

• Authorization to work in Spain.

Nice to have

• STEM education related to software or systems.
• SCADA experience for energy systems.
• CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Low-level embedded firmware experience (STM32 or similar).
• Python scripting for testing.
• Strong Git-based workflow experience.
• Experience interfacing with or running local/cloud AI agents with a frugal mindset.
