What You Will Be Doing
You will become part of a small, growing team of software engineers building a modern archive solution that performs at scale whilst ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Working alongside experienced engineers in Aarhus, you will contribute to critical banking infrastructure that serves millions of customers and colleagues across the bank.
- Build and improve Java services and APIs for document storage and retrieval
- Write clean, tested and maintainable code with regular code reviews
- Enhance reliability through logging, monitoring, alerting and performance testing
- Work with AWS-based services and infrastructure under guidance from experienced engineers
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to understand requirements and deliver stable solutions
- Learn the archive domain gradually whilst taking increasing ownership of components
- Solid foundation in Java development with focus on clean, maintainable code
- Familiarity with cloud concepts, preferably AWS but Azure or GCP also acceptable
- Good understanding of REST APIs and service-to-service integration patterns
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipeline concepts
- Willingness to work in regulated environments prioritizing security and compliance
- Collaborative mindset that values team success over individual achievements
- Fluent in Danish for effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders

Our hybrid work model allows 1-2 days working from home per week, and you will be based in our Aarhus office at Jægergårdsgade 101b with good transport connections and employer-paid parking.
