Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview

Global Wealth and Investment Management (GWIM) team supports onshore (US) Portfolio Managers, Investment Strategists, Trust Officers, Business owners and content owners working for 'Bank of America Private Bank' and ML Wealth Management with respect to Investments, Wealth Management, Trust Operations and Website administration related work. The division comprising of highly qualified associates operates from two locations i.e. Gurugram & Hyderabad.

Job Description

Fiduciary Solutions team was set up in 2008 as part of GWIM to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business. Team partners with Trust and other Fiduciary Officers across various trust and estate administrative work streams. The nature of work involves preparing correspondence letters for the clients, preparing BAU/customized reports for stateside Executives, researching client/prospect information for newer business opportunities. Team also liaison with US insurance companies to obtain illustrations on client policies, researching reasons for account statements getting returned and working on some adhoc one-time initiatives for LOB from time to time.

Responsibilities

The candidate would be required to support client facing teams - Trust Officers (TO) Trust Administrative Officers (TAO) and other Fiduciary officers with respect to Trust and Estate administrative work. The candidate will be responsible for:

• Summarizing Trust document and update important aspects of the Trust / making recommendations to support Trust Officers across US.

• Reading Trust document and identify administrative exceptions and/or errors and allow the account officers to correct them or escalate to their managers as appropriate.

• Other responsibilities would involve need based interaction with our onshore business partners or Line of Business.

• Ensure to adhere to predefined parameters in terms of quality and timeliness of work

• Expected to actively participate in key process improvement/operational initiatives

Requirements

Education

Graduate / Postgraduate in Law

Certifications If Any

Experience Range

0-3 years prior experience in Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO), Law firm

Foundational skills

  • Knowledge of Wealth Management preferably Trust Operations
  • Performing Document review of legal documents
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Desired skills

  • Proficient in MS Office - Advance Excel knowledge is essential for the role
  • Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
