FinOps AI / ML Engineer Assoc Director
Indexed description
You Are
A senior technology leader with extensive experience in cloud/platform engineering, data/AI, or SRE who has spent years driving FinOps automation at scale. You have proven experience leading multi-workstream, multi-cloud programs and can translate complex agentic AI architectures into tangible, executive-level business value for global enterprise clients.
The Work
- Define the target architecture for agentic AI in FinOps (single- and multi-agent designs; event-driven agents; broker/coordination patterns) and the integration blueprint for MCP-enabled tools, clouds, and enterprise systems
- Establish the reference model for policy-as-code (cost, budget, commitment, tagging, anomaly response) and IaC guardrails (Terraform/ARM/Bicep) to enforce FinOps standards across environments
- Stand up reusable agentic components and pipelines (data ingestion, normalization, decisioning, action orchestration), and publish SDKs/templates so delivery squads can snap-in FinOps automations
- Lead squads (Managers/Consultants) to implement policy-as-code controls and IaC modules for optimization, allocation/showback/chargeback, and forecasting desks—scaling across multi-cloud client portfolios
- Operationalize Accenture Agentic AI standards and registration/monitoring requirements (Policy 1010 and Standard #7) for client solutions; ensure compliant data sourcing and use of approved enterprise AI tooling
- Embed security and access controls (RBAC, secrets, auditability) in agentic workflows and IaC; align with cloud security controls as applicable
- Define KPIs and telemetry for realized savings, forecast accuracy, allocation coverage, and policy adherence; publish executive dashboards and readouts for finance and product leaders
- Contribute to offering assets and sales pursuits; shape SOWs and solution architectures for agentic-enabled FinOps programs
Here's What You Need
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in cloud/platform engineering, data/AI, or SRE
- Minimum of 5 years of experience driving FinOps automation at scale
- Minimum of 4 years of experience leading multi-workstream, multi-cloud programs at the enterprise level
- Minimum 1 year experience in Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangGraph/AutoGen/Crew-style patterns), MCP integration, and Python/TypeScript/Go
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Data (or similar field) or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
- You hold a FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) credential or CSP cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- You have proficiency in IaC (Terraform/Bicep/ARM) and policy-as-code engines (OPA/Rego, Sentinel)
- You have Executive storytelling capabilities; skilled at building value cases and aligning stakeholders across engineering, finance, security, and procurement
- You have additional coursework or certifications in Responsible AI or Cloud Architecture
- You have team lead experience in a global consulting or professional services firm
- You have external client-facing consulting experience at the C-suite or executive level
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Data (or similar field)
We anticipate this job posting will be posted until 08/31/2026.
