Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 6-15 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Fort Mill. The ideal candidate will possess strong DevOps knowledge and a passion for automating processes, improving system reliability, and enhancing deployment efficiency. You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and provide operational support.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and optimize resource utilization.
  • Develop and maintain configuration management systems using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed in all aspects of the DevOps lifecycle.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production systems.
  • Continuously improve processes and tools to enhance team productivity and software quality.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
  • Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with database management and optimization.
  • Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar position.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
