Your Daily Routine Would Include
- Leading customer workshops and technical discovery sessions in German to understand business needs, security requirements, and existing Azure/on-prem environments.
- Designing end-to-end Microsoft Sentinel solutions, including data connectors, Log Analytics workspaces, analytics rules, playbooks, and role models.
- Developing and maintaining Azure Logic Apps for security automation and integration with third-party systems (e.g., ITSM, ticketing, notifications).
- Designing and implementing security controls such as Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, PIM, managed identities, and Conditional Access policies.
- Advising customers on Azure licensing and cost optimization (Sentinel, Defender, Log Analytics, and data strategies).
- Defining monitoring and logging strategies, including workspace design, diagnostics, alerting, and performance optimization.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub) for automated deployments, version control, and quality assurance across multiple environments.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
- 5+ years of hands‑on Azure architecture experience, ideally with a focus on security and monitoring.
- 3+ years working with Microsoft Sentinel or Azure Data Lake.
- Strong, demonstrable development background (automation, scripting, integration).
- Experience in customer-facing roles: workshops, consulting, and solution design.
- Ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
- Strong language skills: fluent German (C1/C2) for leading workshops, presenting architectures, and working with clients, plus solid English (B2+) for collaboration in international teams and technical communication.
