Cloud Solutions Architect (Google Cloud)

About the job

We are looking for a Google Cloud (GCP) Solutions Architect to join our growing team and help drive GCP cloud adoption.

You'll partner with our sales and engineering teams to understand customer challenges, design compelling Google Cloud solutions, and lead the technical conversation from first discovery through to deal closure. Increasingly, this includes data platforms and AI/ML workloads, helping customers architect solutions around analytics, machine learning, and generative AI on GCP. You'll be a key face of Cloud Office in front of clients, translating technology into clear business outcomes.

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective customers to uncover business goals, pain points, and cloud readiness.
• Design GCP solution architectures (including migrations, landing zones, hybrid connectivity, containers, and data platforms) tailored to customer requirements.
• Scope and present data and AI/ML solutions on GCP, including data lake architectures, analytics pipelines (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc), and AI/ML platforms (Vertex AI), responding to growing customer demand for intelligent, data-driven applications.
• Own presales deliverables: proposals, RFI/RFP responses, Statements of Work, effort estimates, and architecture documentation.
• Deliver customer-facing demos, workshops, and PoCs to validate proposed solutions and build technical confidence.
• Support the full sales cycle from opportunity qualification and deal strategy to pricing and proposal presentation.
• Act as a Google Cloud trusted advisor, communicating best practices around security, governance, cost optimization (FinOps), and the Google Cloud Architecture Framework.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth handoff from pre-sales to execution, maintaining solution integrity.
• Contribute to Cloud Office's Google Cloud partnership development, including tracking certifications, specializations, and partner program requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Solid hands-on experience with Google Cloud architecture or engineering, including migrations, infrastructure, networking, compute, storage, databases, and security.
• Proven ability to design and present solutions to both technical and executive audiences.
• Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles, including proposals and RFP responses.
• Strong written and verbal communication - able to produce high-quality documentation and hold a boardroom conversation.
• A learning mindset - cloud and AI move fast, and we expect our team to move with them.
• Fluent Bulgarian and business-level English.

Nice to have

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer certification.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or on-premises connectivity).
• Familiarity with GCP data services - BigQuery, Cloud Data Fusion, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, or Looker.
• Exposure to AI/ML or generative AI on GCP (Vertex AI, Gemini) or equivalent platforms, and the ability to scope and position these engagements commercially.
• Familiarity with containers (GKE, Cloud Run), FinOps, or cost governance tooling.
• Exposure to GitLab, DevSecOps, or CI/CD pipelines on Google Cloud (Cloud Build).
