Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead and trusted advisor throughout the project delivery lifecycle, ensuring successful implementation of infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions.
- Work closely with Sales, Solution Architects, Competency Heads, and Project Managers to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, deliverable, and aligned with customer requirements.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customers' business objectives, existing infrastructure landscape, operational challenges, and future technology roadmap.
- Design and govern end-to-end infrastructure solutions covering compute, virtualization, storage, networking, cloud, identity, and cybersecurity technologies.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity SMEs to integrate security controls and solutions such as Identity & Access Management (IAM/PAM), Endpoint Security, Network Security, Data Protection, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, and Cloud Security into the overall solution architecture.
- Provide technical leadership throughout project delivery, ensuring solutions are implemented according to architecture, industry best practices, and operational requirements.
- Lead solution design workshops, architecture reviews, and technical governance throughout project execution.
- Review and validate technical designs, implementation plans, migration strategies, and integration approaches.
- Act as the highest technical escalation point for complex implementation and infrastructure-related issues during project delivery.
- Identify delivery risks, technical dependencies, and architectural constraints, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Oversee system integration across multiple technology domains to ensure successful end-to-end solution delivery.
- Ensure infrastructure platforms meet security, performance, scalability, resilience, and operational supportability requirements.
- Review and approve technical documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), implementation guides, migration plans, operational handover documentation, and as-built documentation.
- Work closely with Project Managers to manage technical scope, stakeholder expectations, project risks, and delivery milestones.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers and solution teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay current with emerging infrastructure technologies, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity best practices to continuously improve solution quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or infrastructure architecture, with at least 5 years leading enterprise solution delivery or architecture engagements.
- Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise infrastructure solutions across multiple technology domains, including:
- Windows and Linux Server platforms
- VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix or virtualization technologies
- Storage and backup solutions
- Enterprise networking
- Active Directory and Identity Services
- Public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Reasonable understanding of enterprise cybersecurity technologies such as:
- Identity & Access Management (IAM/PAM)
- Endpoint Security
- Network Security
- Database Security
- SIEM
- Vulnerability Management
- Cloud Security
- Zero Trust architecture
- OT/IOT security
- Experience leading infrastructure transformation, migration, modernization, and system integration projects.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to serve as the final technical escalation point during project delivery.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, infrastructure design methodologies, and technology governance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams across large and complex projects.
- Strong documentation skills, including architecture design documents, implementation plans, and technical governance artefacts.
- Positive attitude with strong ownership, leadership, and customer-focused mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering projects within Government, Financial Services, Critical Information Infrastructure (CII), or large enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and Zero Trust Architecture.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell) would be advantageous
