Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm M-F, Rotating on-call support
The SCADA Solutions Architect is responsible for the design, engineering, integration, and long-term technical roadmap of enterprise SCADA systems. This role leads automation initiatives within commissioning and drives the adoption of AI-enabled tools to improve console delivery, testing, display development, system cutovers, maintenance, and support processes.
The architect will also support SCADA integration with operational technology (OT) platforms, streaming data solutions, enterprise systems, and emerging AI technologies while providing technical leadership for future platform strategy and system scalability.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related technical field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience designing, integrating, or developing SCADA, industrial control, or industrial software systems.
- Experience leading technical teams and architectural initiatives.
Technical Skills:
- Python
- PowerShell
- JavaScript
Hands-on experience with:
- Enterprise SCADA platforms
- HMI/UI development
- Backend application development
- Database design and administration
- Automated testing
- CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Oil & gas industry experience.
- Midstream pipeline SCADA experience.
- Knowledge of:
- Pipeline operations
- Pipeline automation
- Measurement systems
- Pipeline control systems
- Commercial midstream operations
Compensation:
$175,000-$195,000 per year annual salary.
