Company Description Cogniify helps enterprises move from AI pilots to production-scale impact by solving the operational, economic, and regulatory challenges of industrializing AI. The company partners with leaders across industries such as Retail, Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Energy, Healthcare, Telecom, Technology, Media, and Supply Chain to design and build control layers that make AI production-ready. Cogniify focuses on data industrialization, real-time sensing, agentic planning, autonomous operations, AI lifecycle management, and responsible AI governance. Rather than selling tools or running isolated pilots, Cogniify enables organizations to scale AI without runaway cloud costs, move from dashboards to decisions, and make AI accountable at the P&L level. The company’s mission is to close the value gap between experimentation and execution so AI becomes a durable enterprise capability.
Role Description The DevOps Engineer role at Cogniify is a full-time remote position focused on building and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure that supports production-grade AI and data solutions. In this role, you design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code, and optimize deployment workflows across multiple environments. You collaborate closely with software engineers, data scientists, and security teams to ensure systems are robust, observable, and compliant with enterprise and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include managing Linux-based systems, monitoring performance and uptime, troubleshooting incidents, improving developer tooling, and contributing to best practices for MLOps and cloud cost optimization. You will also help document processes, participate in architecture reviews, and continuously enhance operational resilience and reliability.
Qualifications
- Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar, and experience automating cloud and on-prem environments.
- Proficiency in Software Development and scripting (e.g., Python, Go, or Bash) to build deployment tools, integrate services, and support automation workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and delivery pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI) and version control using Git.
- Solid System Administration capabilities, including configuring, monitoring, and securing servers and networks in production-grade environments.
- Deep knowledge of Linux operating systems, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and shell-based tooling in distributed environments.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of observability practices (logging, metrics, tracing) and tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry) to maintain reliable services.
- Awareness of security
