We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join the team of our exceptional client. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, optimization, and support of Microsoft cloud technologies and enterprise infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra, Intune, and systems automation.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses deep knowledge of cloud services, identity and access management, endpoint administration, and infrastructure operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable IT services while partnering with stakeholders across the organization to drive continuous improvement and technology innovation.

What will your day look like? As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will:
• Serve as the go-to expert for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra technologies, providing advanced support and guidance for Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related services.
• Administer and enhance the Microsoft 365 environment, including user lifecycle management, permissions, licensing, compliance, and security controls.
• Manage identity and access solutions, including Entra ID Connect, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access policies, and Active Directory synchronization.
• Oversee endpoint management through Microsoft Intune, including device provisioning, software packaging, deployment, updates, and lifecycle management.
• Support and maintain enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, including servers, workstations, and critical business systems.
• Help safeguard organizational systems and data through security monitoring, backup and recovery processes, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity incident response.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalation support for complex technical issues affecting users and business operations.
• Create and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell, Power Automate, and other Microsoft technologies to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, procedures, and user-facing knowledge resources.
• Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies and best practices to improve reliability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with vendors, business stakeholders, and internal IT teams to deliver exceptional technology services and project outcomes.
• Participate in after-hours support activities and travel to company locations when needed.
• Contribute to infrastructure planning, disaster recovery initiatives, business continuity efforts, and ongoing process improvements.
You will be a good fit for the Senior Systems Administrator role if you have:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in a senior systems administration, infrastructure support, or technical operations role
• Strong expertise with Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, software deployment, and device administration
• Experience supporting hybrid identity environments utilizing Active Directory, Entra ID Connect, MFA, and Conditional Access
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and process automation
• Knowledge of infrastructure administration, backup and recovery, security best practices, and systems monitoring
• Experience managing software licensing and IT asset controls
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to prioritize workloads and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership experience, including mentoring team members and providing technical guidance
Nice-to-Haves:
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service management best practices
• Experience with Power Automate and Microsoft cloud-based automation tools
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and cybersecurity operations
• Experience supporting large-scale Microsoft cloud environments
• Background working with third-party vendors and technology partners
