Mission / Role Overview
As a key member of the Global Continuous Improvement & Performance Management Team under Service Operations (SO), the Services Operations Tools Specialist is responsible for ensuring the excellence, development, accuracy, and global adoption of Service Operations tools and BI dashboards. This position works closely with global, regional, and analytics teams to enhance digital service tools, perform rigorous data quality assurance, and drive tool deployment across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Services Line of Business (LoB) Tools & Deployment:
- Support Services LoB and SO Tools leaders in the development, testing, and deployment of digital service tools (bFO / bFS).
- Support deployment plans and tool rollouts in collaboration with Regional SO Teams and Services Tools leadership.
- Services BI Tools & SO Dashboards:
- Support global development, testing, and deployment of services BI tools and dashboards (including Master Planning Tool, Utilization Rate, Working Hours Summary, Tendering Dashboard, Services Performance Dashboard, Gross Margin Dashboard, S&OP Dashboard, FSR / Planner Deviation, Service Partner, Finance BI, Heat Map Dashboard, and Services Backlog Intelligence).
- Support SO regional teams and tool leaders to enhance existing dashboards or build new ones.
- Follow up on development plans, roadmaps, priorities, and expected deliverables.
- Collaborate with Cavite's Analytics team, participate in regular cadences to validate sprints, confirm progress, and review deliverables in DEV environments.
- Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Validate backlog user stories by testing in DEV and providing actionable feedback to the development team.
- Approve DEV environments for push to production prior to each release.
- Generate and export bFO / bFS and other tool reports into Excel to perform manual calculations and verify dashboard data accuracy.
- Challenge dashboard results in DEV to catch and fix inconsistencies before end-users encounter them in production.
- Report, follow up on findings, test results, and maintain project backlogs of requirements/issues through resolution.
- Deployment, Training & Enablement:
- Train region, zone, and country users as required.
- Create training content for regional user onboarding.
- Contribute to the animation and engagement of the global Service BI tools community.
- Monitor global deployment, including user adoption and usage compliance.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (A Level +5 years in Engineering, MSc, Commercial, or related fields).
- Experience & Certifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project and service environments (e.g., EPC, Engineering, equipment/project execution, or Services Operations).
- Project Management: Practicing project management background. PMP certification is required for external applicants (Practicing PM experience without PMP certification is acceptable for internal applicants).
- Digital & Analytics Tools: Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of digital service tools (bFO / bFS), dashboard preparation, and reporting tools (Tableau, SQL, Excel).
- Background in process improvement, value chain analysis, or digital tools development.
- Experience working, selling, or executing customer projects/services in an international/global environment.
- Key Skills & Attributes:
- Data & Technical Proficiency: Strong data manipulation skills (Excel, SQL, Tableau reporting).
- Process & Analytical Mindset: Highly process/tool-oriented with strong analytical capabilities to spot data discrepancies.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; able to explain complex ideas clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Leadership & Agility: Strong team-building abilities across multicultural, cross-functional teams; ability to lead with agility and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Change Management: Ability to drive continuous improvement, foster a high-performance culture, and support organizational digital transformations.
