Title: Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

Must-haves:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure environments, including App Services, Functions, Storage, Identity, Networking, and Integrations.
- Strong Azure DevOps experience supporting cloud migrations, modernization efforts, CI/CD pipelines, repositories, and release management.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio, including building custom Copilot agents end-to-end.
- Experience designing conversation flows, handling edge cases, and integrating Copilot solutions with enterprise applications.
- Strong API and integration experience, including REST APIs, OAuth/authentication, orchestration, connectors, and enterprise integrations.
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript for automation, scripting, integrations, and backend development.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex Microsoft environments, cloud services, infrastructure, networking, and application issues.
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Strong knowledge of Azure, Entra ID, Purview, Defender, Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, SQL Server, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, cloud operations, technical support, or a related IT environment.
Plusses:
- Experience integrating with Oracle, Salesforce, Siebel, or similar enterprise platforms.
- Experience with middleware and orchestration solutions.
- Microsoft, CompTIA, or equivalent certifications.
- Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industry experience.
- Knowledge of PHI, PII, HITRUST, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience presenting technical solutions and influencing business decisions.
Day-to-day:
This engineer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining both customer-facing and internal production environments across cloud and on-premises platforms. They will troubleshoot complex issues involving infrastructure, applications, networking, databases, and integrations while ensuring system reliability and performance. The role will work closely with Development, Infrastructure, Applications, and business stakeholders to diagnose problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
On a daily basis, the engineer will support hybrid Azure environments, perform system upgrades and patching, manage service requests, and contribute to modernization initiatives through Azure DevOps and automation. They will also build, integrate, and support AI-powered solutions using Copilot Studio and Microsoft technologies, connecting enterprise systems through APIs and other integration methods. Success in this role requires someone who can move seamlessly between development, troubleshooting, cloud engineering, integrations, and stakeholder communication while taking ownership of complex technical challenges.
