Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support cloud platforms and CI/CD solutions that improve software delivery, scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines using GitHub and modern DevOps practices to support continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions and automation patterns to provision, configure, test, and manage cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor platform health, performance, and availability; identify and resolve bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventative solutions.
- Support cloud-native application development by providing engineering solutions that improve developer experience, platform stability, and release quality.
- Develop and maintain documentation, technical standards, and operational procedures while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-based solutions aligned to business needs.
- Promote code through development, testing, and production environments according to release schedules and provide production support as needed.
- Evaluate tools, technologies, and engineering practices to continuously improve platform effectiveness, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, support engineering best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work independently while effectively contributing within Agile and Scrum-based delivery teams.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure management, cloud operations, or a related technology field.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong hands-on experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, including GitHub Actions.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language, including TypeScript, Java, or Python.
- Experience designing, deploying, and supporting AWS cloud solutions and cloud-native applications.
- Experience with Docker, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps engineering practices.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar engineering productivity tools.
- Familiarity with Open Policy Agent (OPA) and Nx.
- Familiarity with Artifactory.
