Job Title: Solution Architect / Software Engineer – Telco Cloud IT Solutions

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect / Software Engineer – Telco Cloud IT Solutions to join our Telco & Media Consulting and Systems Integration practice. This role is ideal for a technology leader with strong telecommunications domain expertise and hands-on experience in designing and delivering large-scale OSS transformation programs.
You will lead end-to-end solution architecture, software engineering, and system integration initiatives for Tier-1 telecommunications operators, focusing on service provisioning, orchestration, activation, fulfillment, and cloud-native OSS platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, and delivery partners to design scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions aligned with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Define end-to-end solution architectures for complex Telco OSS and cloud transformation programs.
- Design target architectures, integration patterns, deployment models, and data flows for distributed and cloud-native environments.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical governance, and solution assurance activities.
- Evaluate technologies and platforms to ensure scalability, security, resiliency, and operational efficiency.
- Establish architecture standards and implementation best practices.
Software Engineering & System Integration
- Design and oversee development activities across service fulfillment, provisioning, activation, orchestration, and inventory management domains.
- Drive adoption of microservices, API-driven architectures, and event-based integration patterns.
- Support delivery across hybrid cloud, private cloud, and Telco cloud environments.
- Ensure compliance with software engineering standards, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD methodologies.
- Review application designs and provide technical guidance throughout project lifecycles.
Delivery & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary technical advisor for customers, project teams, and delivery stakeholders.
- Facilitate technical workshops, solution assessments, requirement refinement sessions, and design authority reviews.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams in Agile, SAFe, or turnkey delivery environments.
- Manage technical risks, dependencies, and integration challenges across multiple systems and vendors.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Promote modern engineering practices, automation frameworks, and cloud-native technologies.
- Stay current with industry developments including TM Forum standards, ETSI NFV, 3GPP frameworks, and emerging OSS technologies.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to capability development and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Support continuous improvement in architecture methodologies and delivery practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related field.
- Extensive experience in Telecommunications OSS architecture, solution design, and system integration.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale OSS transformation, fulfillment, provisioning, orchestration, or inventory solutions.
- Strong understanding of Telco Cloud architectures, NFV/SDN concepts, and cloud-native software engineering.
- Experience working with Tier-1 telecom operators and large-scale transformation programs.
- Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership experience.
Preferred
- Exposure to 5G Core, Network Slicing, Service Exposure Functions (NEF), and Edge Computing environments.
- Experience in OSS/BSS modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
- Familiarity with international telecom standards and frameworks.
