We’re partnered with a leading global insurance organisation currently undergoing a significant cloud and infrastructure transformation, investing heavily in modernising its technology estate and Azure cloud platform.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cloud Architect to join a growing infrastructure function, helping define the future cloud strategy, architecture standards and modernisation roadmap across a complex enterprise environment.

The Opportunity

You'll work closely with Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, Security and Technology teams to design secure, scalable and resilient Azure solutions that support the organisation's long-term cloud strategy.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic architecture with technical delivery, influencing cloud adoption, defining best practices and supporting large-scale transformation programmes.

You'll play a key role in shaping cloud governance, reducing technical debt and ensuring Azure solutions are secure, cost-effective and aligned with business objectives.

Key experience we're looking for:

• Strong experience as a Cloud Architect with Microsoft Azure
• Enterprise-scale Azure architecture and cloud transformation experience
• Azure Landing Zones, governance and architecture best practices
• Hybrid cloud, networking, identity and cloud security expertise
• Experience delivering cloud migration and modernisation programmes
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Bicep)
• Strong stakeholder management across infrastructure, engineering and business teams
• Ability to produce architecture documentation and provide technical leadership
• Azure certifications (AZ-305 or similar) highly desirable
