YOUR ROLE

The Domain Architect for the Acquisition & Interaction (A&I) Cluster is a highly autonomous, strategically influential role. This individual is expected to take domain strategy and architectural vision, challenge it intelligently, refine it, translate it into actionable roadmaps, and lead execution through engineering teams.

This is a driver role — someone who pushes the architecture forward without hand-holding, connects business and technology, and is willing to get into the trenches when needed to make sure outcomes are delivered.

YOUR PROFILE

Knowledge

• Deep understanding of acquisition marketing, customer communication, engagement funnels, and behavioral analytics — ideally in regulated or complex industries
• Strong knowledge of tracking, attribution, conversion optimization, experimentation, and customer journey orchestration
• Broad understanding of digital experiences: content strategy, information modeling, design systems, metrics, UI/UX flows, and user behavior
• Holistic architectural thinking combined with pragmatic, hands-on execution ability.

• Operates independently and proactively — progresses without needing constant alignment
• Challenges strategy and assumptions constructively and proposes stronger alternatives
• Sets domain architectural context and guardrails that empower autonomous delivery
• Skilled at navigating complex interpersonal landscapes with diplomacy and authority
• Communicates effectively at all levels using the Architecture Elevator approach

• Directly drives measurable improvements across acquisition, engagement, retention, and communication
• Translates business goals into structured architectural capabilities and roadmaps
• Evaluates proposed solutions with rigor, challenging unnecessary complexity or misalignment
• Ensures all domain architecture integrates cleanly with analytics, experimentation, and DataMesh

• Consistently questions the status quo and introduces impactful, innovative ideas
• Encourages flexibility in technology choices while ensuring coherence and sustainability
• Stays current with emerging techniques in acquisition, digital engagement, and personalization.

• Strong ability to perform due diligence and deep analysis of complex domains
• Skilled in documenting architectures, processes, and capabilities using tools like Ardoq
• Comfortable with hands-on assessments, data deep-dives, and prototype validations

• Own the A&I architectural agenda autonomously
• Ensure domain roadmaps reflect solid architectural foundations, not short-term hacks
• Engage deeply with engineering teams to ensure execution aligns with architectural intent
• Willingly dive into operational details to unblock progress and ensure delivery.
