Responsibilities
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
- Define and lead the strategic roadmap for Microsoft 365 and other digital workplace tools, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID.
- Govern the lifecycle of workplace collaboration services and ensure policy compliance, operational readiness, and user adoption.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to implement security controls such as DLP, conditional access, encryption, and data governance.
- Lead platform upgrades, capability rollouts, and service enhancements to support evolving business needs.
- Support integration and interoperability across M365 workloads and other business productivity solutions.
- Drive adoption of digital tools through user enablement programs, training campaigns, and support frameworks.\
- Oversee service metrics, usage analytics, and performance dashboards to inform decision-making and platform optimization.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and IT governance processes.
- Engage with business stakeholders to assess collaboration needs and ensure platform scalability and responsiveness.
- Assist Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) with requirements gathering, analysis, design, and development of new or enhanced services, ensuring seamless transition to operations teams.
- 7+ years of experience managing Microsoft 365 services or digital workplace platforms in enterprise environments.
- Expertise in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Entra ID administration.
- Strong understanding of workplace governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Experience with platform integration, automation tools, and collaboration workflows.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Proficiency with usage analytics, user experience metrics, and platform reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or related collaboration platform certifications.
