Lead Azure Cloud Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Lead Azure Cloud Engineer to spearhead a significant project for an international client.

As part of our team, you will be instrumental in migrating workloads from an on-premises datacenter to the Azure South Central US region. Also, in this role you will set up Disaster Recovery capabilities in the East US region. This is a dynamic role that offers ample opportunity for problem-solving and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of workloads from an on-premises datacenter to the Azure South Central US region
• Set up Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities for the migrated workloads in the East US region
• Manage the containerization and orchestration of a large microservices architecture-based application using VMware Tanzu
• Implement and configure cloud services and resources, specifically within the Microsoft Azure platform
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the migrated applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and efficient migration process

Requirements

• Proficiency in cloud migration
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization and container orchestration management
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and VMware Tanzu
• Fluent English communication skills (B2+ level)

Salary range €5K-€6.4K gross, based on your experience and interview results.
