Middle Level Software Engineer - LATAM

Location: LATAM – 100% Remote (Contract) Overview We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer based in Latin America to join our team on a contract basis. You will work alongside a distributed engineering team to design, build, and ship features, bringing solid technical experience and the ability to own well-scoped work independently. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain features across our backend and/or frontend systems. - Take ownership of well-scoped projects from implementation through delivery. - Collaborate with engineers, product, and design partners across time zones. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices. Requirements - 3–5 years of professional software development experience. - Proficiency in one or more modern languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go. - Experience designing and consuming APIs and working with relational databases. - Excellent English speaking and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a distributed team. - Based in Latin America and able to overlap with standard US working hours.
