Principal Architect at BairesDev

As a Principal Architect, you will design and govern enterprise-scale cloud strategies across multi-region and multi-account environments. You will serve as the technical authority for cloud standards, ensuring that complex infrastructures are resilient, secure, and optimized for long-term growth.

What You'll Do

• Architect and oversee the deployment of highly available, multi-region cloud infrastructures to support global operations.
• Define and implement enterprise-wide governance frameworks and cloud standards to ensure architectural consistency.
• Drive FinOps initiatives and cost optimization strategies to maximize the business value of cloud investments.
• Apply the Well-Architected Framework and industry best practices to improve system reliability and security posture.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and engineering teams to align technical roadmaps with overarching business objectives.
• Design multi-cloud strategies and cross-account structures to enhance portability and reduce organizational risk.

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering.
• Proven expertise in designing and governing enterprise-wide cloud architectures across multi-region and multi-account environments.
• Deep understanding of cloud governance frameworks, FinOps, and cost optimization strategies.
• Strong background in implementing the AWS Well-Architected Framework or similar cloud standards.
• Hands-on experience with cloud security configurations and multi-cloud strategy.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
