Senior Cloud Architect at BairesDev

As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will design and oversee the evolution of complex, multi-region cloud infrastructures across major providers. You will act as the strategic link between business objectives and technical execution, ensuring that enterprise systems are resilient, secure, and financially efficient.

What You'll Do

• Architect and govern large-scale, multi-account cloud environments using frameworks like the Well-Architected Framework.
• Lead the implementation of FinOps methodologies to drive financial accountability and maximize cloud value realization.
• Define and enforce enterprise-wide cloud platform standards, security guardrails, and governance policies.
• Design high-availability and disaster recovery strategies, including active-active and warm standby regional postures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud strategies with long-term business goals and digital transformation initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and architectural patterns to ensure the infrastructure remains future-proof and scalable.

What We Are Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering.
• Proven expertise in designing multi-region and multi-account architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in implementing the Well-Architected Framework and cloud security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with FinOps methodologies and cloud cost optimization strategies at scale.
• Strong background in defining cloud platform standards and enterprise governance frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
