SoftwareOne is a global leader in cloud and software services. We’re hiring a Senior Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise data platforms, enabling scalable analytics and AI solutions for our customers.

The Role

• Lead the design and evolution of enterprise data architectures, covering data ingestion, storage, processing, governance, and consumption.
• Define and drive data platform strategies using modern cloud and analytics technologies (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake).
• Establish and enforce data architecture standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for security, quality, and scalability.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust data architecture solutions that support analytics, BI, and AI use cases.
• Provide technical leadership across projects, including architecture reviews, solution validation, and risk assessment.
• Mentor and guide data engineers and architects, contributing to capability building and reusable architectural assets.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience leading data architecture design for enterprise environments and large-scale data platforms.
• Strong expertise in cloud data ecosystems, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time or batch processing architectures.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling, data governance, data quality, and data security, with hands-on implementation experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming or query languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Scala) used in data engineering workflows.
• Experience integrating data platforms with AI/ML and advanced analytics scenarios.
• Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid data architectures.
• Background in consulting or working with multinational/global teams.
