• Design overall AI system architecture, integrating algorithms, platforms, and engineering to improve scalability and performance.

Manage architecture governance, ensure IT projects / solutions are aligned with architecture guidelines and growth strategies of AIA

• Responsible for researching, analyzing, designing, proposing and potentially delivering solutions that align to the business and growth strategies of AIA Roles and Responsibilities:
• Technology Forecasting and Evaluation: o Stay abreast of new and emerging generative AI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies. o Lead the evaluation and integration of diverse AI platforms (including but not limited to DeepSeek, OpenAI, Microsoft Azure AI, Ali/Tencent, and popular open source ecosystems) into the Enterprise Architecture.
• Design & Implementation of Agentic Workflows: o Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced “agentic workflows” that harness principles from cognitive psychology, neuroscience, logic, and decision theory. o Oversee both strategic planning and hands-on prototyping to enable innovative solutions that incorporate AI reasoning and decision-making capabilities.
• Innovation Leadership and Use Case Incubation: o Drive innovation through ideation sessions and design thinking workshops to identify high-impact AI use cases. o Develop comprehensive business cases and manage pilot programs that validate and refine these AI-driven initiatives before wider adoption.
• Enterprise Architecture Roadmap: o Define the future-state architecture that marries traditional IT disciplines with generative AI capabilities, ensuring that the roadmap reflects both current business needs and future growth opportunities. o Formulate technology roadmaps that create a competitive advantage through emerging AI, cloud, and integration technologies.
• Stakeholder and Change Management: o Collaborate with regional business units, cross-functional teams, and external partners to ensure alignment on architecture standards and AI innovation initiatives. o Lead change management and stakeholder engagement efforts to promote adoption and ensure smooth transitions as new technologies are implemented.
• Technical & Strategic Integration: o Contribute to strategic discussions on improving customer experience, usability, and digital transformation through innovative AI solutions. o Ensure that AI initiatives are aligned with broader enterprise goals while maintaining a balance between creative innovation and technical depth.
• Governance and Compliance: o Develop guidelines and standards for the development and deployment of AI solutions, ensuring that all initiatives adhere to internal policies and best practices. o Monitor and govern the execution of projects to ensure consistency with the overall Enterprise Architecture and emerging AI governance frameworks.

Job Requirements

• Experience & Background: o A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT disciplines is desirable, though candidates with fewer years but significant hands-on generative AI and innovation experience will be considered. o Proven track record in both traditional IT architecture and cutting- edge AI/ML engineering practices, with demonstrable experience in innovation leadership.
• Generative AI Expertise: o Hands-on experience with generative AI technologies including prototyping, model fine-tuning, model distillation, reinforcement learning with human feedback, chain-of-thought methodologies, and prompt engineering. o Familiarity with multiple generative AI platforms and ecosystems such as DeepSeek, OpenAI, Microsoft Azure AI, Ali/Tencent AI, and popular open source frameworks.
• Innovation & Design Thinking: o Strong background in design thinking methodologies, business case development, and pilot program execution for AI initiatives. o Experience in ideating and incubating use cases that bridge technical innovation with real business value. o Ability to apply multiple technical solutions to business problems. o Familiarization with rapid application and proof of concept development practices
• Agentic Workflow Design: o Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing agentic workflows, with a multidisciplinary background that includes elements of cognitive psychology, neuroscience, and logic & decision theory.
• Strategic & Technical Acumen: o Ability to balance strategic vision with technical depth, contributing to both long-term enterprise planning and hands-on AI solution development. o Experience with digital transformation initiatives that leverage emerging technologies for competitive advantage.
• Collaboration and Change Management: o Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills, with experience in change management and stakeholder engagement across regional business units. o Proven ability to work collaboratively in dynamic, multi-disciplinary teams and drive consensus in a diverse organizational environment.
• Additional Technical Proficiencies: o Working knowledge of AI/ML engineering practices and an understanding of cloud services, integration frameworks, and agile development practices. o Awareness of current trends in AI and digitalization with the ability to apply innovative technical solutions to business challenges.
