Position Summary
The Senior Cloud Architect is responsible for defining and governing enterprise cloud architecture, developing standardized solution blueprints, creating repeatable go-to-market (GTM) offerings, and driving operational excellence across cloud, infrastructure, security, and data platforms.
The role serves as a key member of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CoE), partnering with sales, presales, delivery, operations, cybersecurity, and product teams to establish scalable cloud platforms and services that are secure, automated, and commercially viable.
This position acts as the technical authority for cloud transformation initiatives, ensuring consistency in architecture standards, service delivery, security controls, automation frameworks, and managed service operations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Cloud Architecture
· Define enterprise cloud architecture strategy across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
· Develop and maintain cloud reference architectures, design standards, and technology roadmaps.
· Create reusable architecture patterns.
· Conduct architecture reviews and technical governance.
2. Architecture Blueprint & Standards Development
· Establish and maintain architecture blueprints for:
o AWS
o Azure
o VMware / Nutanix
o Kubernetes platforms
o Operations runbooks
· Develop architecture patterns that can be reused
· Create deployment standards and implementation accelerators.
3. Cloud Platform & Automation
· Lead development of cloud platform engineering capabilities.
· Define Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards using:
o Terraform
o CloudFormation
o Ansible
· Drive platform reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
4. Security Architecture & Security Operations
· Define cloud security architecture standards and guardrails.
· Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to establish:
o Security baselines
o Identity and access controls
o Network segmentation
o Zero Trust architecture
o Compliance frameworks
o Vulnerability management
o Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
o Security Operations processes
· Support sales and presales teams in strategic opportunities.
5. Operational Excellence & Managed Services
· Define Day 0, Day 1, and Day 2 operating models.
· Develop service management processes aligned with ITIL practices.
· Establish:
o SRE practices
o Monitoring standards
o Observability frameworks
o Incident response procedures
o Problem management processes
· Drive automation and reduction of operational toil.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
· 10+ years of IT infrastructure and cloud experience.
· 5+ years in enterprise architecture or cloud architecture leadership roles.
· Experience leading large-scale cloud transformation programs.
· Experience in managed services and operational environments.
· Pre-sales Consulting experience, including time supporting sales and liaising with technical practices and delivery will be an added advantage.
· Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
· Experience as a team leader in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
