About the role.
The Sales Analyst holds a critical role within the Foodservice team at McCain. This position is responsible for managing and interpreting multiple data sources to deliver channel and customer intelligence, identify performance opportunities, and support commercial growth strategies. The role requires a strong combination of analytical expertise, business acumen, execution excellence, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive business results.

Compensation Package : $58,800.00 - $78,500.00 . USD annually + Bonus eligibility

What you'll be doing.
- Collaborate with Sales Teams and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to optimize and continuously improve reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Partner with Channel stakeholders to establish meaningful reporting and dashboard solutions aligned to business priorities.
- Lead the analysis and interpretation of McCain and customer data to improve decision-making effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain recurring reports and insights that support channel and customer performance management.
- Integrate multiple data sources and leverage insights to provide a holistic view of business performance, trends, and opportunities.
- Identify patterns, trends, and root causes of underperformance, including the impact of competitive activity and external market factors.
- Analyze syndicated and customer data to uncover performance drivers and recommend actions that can be scaled across customers and channels.
- Serve as a trusted business partner to Channel Teams by identifying growth opportunities and performance gaps.
- Support new item planning, launch execution, and performance tracking through Circana, Power BI, and customer database platforms.
- Present data and insights in a clear, accessible, and compelling manner to support strategic decision-making and organizational alignment.
What you'll need to be successful.
- University degree required.
- Prior experience in data analytics, sales analytics, business intelligence, category management, commercial analytics, or a related field.
- Food industry experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable business recommendations.
- Experience working with syndicated data sources such as Circana and customer data platforms.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence through analytics and insights
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and proactively drive initiatives forward.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing business needs and priorities.
- Strong emotional intelligence and relationship-building capabilities.
