Collab O365 Architect

Cognizant is seeking a Collab O365 Architect for a full-time opportunity in Mansfield, TX. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US. Cognizant will not offer visa sponsorships now or anytime in the future.

Responsibilities

• Architect secure and high performing SharePoint Online and M365 collaboration ecosystems that support hybrid work models and distributed teams -Define reusable patterns for SharePoint infra build and migration to cloud based platforms ensuring consistency, reliability, and optimized resource utilization.
• Implement robust governance for SharePoint administration covering site provisioning, content lifecycle, retention policies, and compliance aligned with organizational standards.
• Optimize OneDrive for Business configurations to enable secure file access, synchronization, and sharing while maintaining strong data protection and compliance controls.
• Coordinate end to end design for Collab M365 SharePoint Suite workloads including portals, team sites, communication sites, and workflow automation capabilities.
• Develop detailed technical design documents, configuration standards, and reference architectures to guide implementation and long term maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to enforce identity, access, and data loss prevention controls across SharePoint Online and OneDrive environments.
• Guide performance tuning, capacity planning, and monitoring strategies for SharePoint platforms to maintain high availability, resilience, and predictable user experiences.
• Coordinate issue resolution for complex SharePoint and M365 incidents by working with cross functional technical teams and global support partners.
• Drive modernization of legacy SharePoint solutions by recommending cloud native capabilities, automation options, and integration patterns that simplify maintenance.
• Engage with stakeholders in media and related domains to translate content workflows and digital asset collaboration needs into scalable SharePoint based solutions.
• Document operational procedures, support runbooks, and knowledge articles to enable efficient day to day operations in a hybrid work and global delivery model.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have 16 to 20 of Collab M365 experience.

10 years of Cloud experience.
