POSITION OVERVIEW

The Technical Lead is responsible for defining and driving the technical architecture of a long-term enterprise platform modernization initiative. The role provides architectural leadership across frontend and backend transformation, aligns technical solutions with business and customer requirements, and ensures successful delivery through close collaboration with customer stakeholders and internal development teams. The position combines strategic architecture oversight, technical governance, and delivery ownership to support scalable, high-quality product evolution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across frontend, backend, and platform components, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions by converting epics into solution designs, technical tasks, and actionable user stories while maintaining key architecture artifacts.
• Lead platform modernization initiatives, including legacy UI migration and platform evolution, aligned with long-term product objectives.
• Act as the primary technical authority, providing architectural guidance and implementation direction to distributed development teams.
• Ensure engineering excellence through technical reviews and adherence to architecture, security, and quality standards.
• Drive feature and platform evolution through the integration of new capabilities, enhancements, and automation initiatives.
• Partner with product and customer teams to refine priorities, support planning activities, and ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Enable continuous delivery through iterative releases, sprint execution, and timely feature rollouts.
• Resolve technical challenges and dependencies to maintain alignment between architectural decisions and delivery goals.
• Serve as the primary customer-facing technical lead for architecture discussions and strategic engagement.
• Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly, providing transparency on roadmap and solution direction.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships by improving visibility, managing expectations, and addressing risks proactively.
• Lead innovation and technology adoption by identifying opportunities for automation and AI-driven capabilities.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, including LLM-based solutions, into the platform architecture.
• Drive continuous improvement to support evolving business needs, customer expectations, and product growth.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant architecture and solution design responsibilities.
• Strong track record of modernizing legacy applications and driving technology transformation programs.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong enterprise architecture experience with a proven ability to design and evolve large-scale business applications.
• Expertise in backend technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and MySQL.
• Strong frontend development knowledge with React as the primary framework and solid JavaScript/TypeScript experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in cloud-native and enterprise environments.
• Experience working with AI/ML technologies, including Python and LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, or similar.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across application and platform layers.

• Experience with Angular to support and modernize legacy frontend applications. (Nice to have)
• Knowledge of OpenShift and/or OpenStack platforms. (Nice to have)
• Experience in product modernization initiatives, including UI, backend, and platform transformations. (Nice to have)
• Experience integrating AI-driven capabilities into enterprise solutions. (Nice to have)
• Background in enterprise SaaS or subscription-based products. (Nice to have)
