Would you like to own the stability and scalability of multi-cloud infrastructure in a fast-growing international consultancy?

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer to be part of our Cloud Ops team managing the day-to-day operations, performance, and reliability of our cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS. Based in Barcelona, you will ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our cloud environments while driving automation and operational excellence.

Your responsibilities

• Define cloud infrastructure strategy, architecture, and operational objectives with stakeholders.
• Manage cloud operations, monitoring, performance optimization and incident response.
• Design, implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation) solutions.
• Oversee automated deployment tooling and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Coordinate infrastructure testing, validation and deployment across multiple environments.
• Manage cloud configurations, security controls, Policy-as-Code implementations and data privacy compliance.
• Implement and manage self-service automation for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues with minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Document infrastructure changes, runbooks, lessons learned and best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams, security teams and external vendors.
• Manage priorities, dependencies and timelines for operational and project-based objectives. Report infrastructure status, performance metrics and improvement initiatives to stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• At least 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud operations environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Bicep or CloudFormation.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, YAML, KQL or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, databases, data stores, IAM and operating systems. Experience with testing automation frameworks and harnesses. Knowledge of Policy-as-Code and security controls implementation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ITIL-based service management practices.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
• Experience managing multicultural, distributed and remote teams is a plus.
• Fluent English; Spanish and French are considered an advantage.
