Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end assessment, planning, architecture, and execution of application and infrastructure migrations to AWS.
- Develop AWS migration roadmaps, including discovery, dependency mapping, migration wave planning, cutover, and rollback strategies.
- Evaluate applications and recommend appropriate migration approaches such as Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Retire, Retain, or Repurchase (6Rs).
- Design secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized AWS landing zones and cloud architectures.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, database, networking, security, and business teams throughout migration projects.
- Provide technical leadership for AWS services including compute, networking, storage, IAM, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and security.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices to automate cloud deployments.
- Identify migration risks, dependencies, security concerns, performance bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
- Support migration execution, testing, production cutover, post-migration validation, and hypercare activities.
Required Skillsec2
- 8+ years of experience as an AWS Cloud Architect or AWS Migration Architect.
- Strong expertise in AWS Cloud services and enterprise cloud architecture.
- Experience designing AWS Landing Zones and migration frameworks.
- Hands-on knowledge of AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Route 53, ELB, Auto Scaling, Backup, and Disaster Recovery.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud automation.
- Experience performing application assessments and migration planning.
- Knowledge of security, governance, compliance, and cloud cost optimization.
- Experience with Axiom is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent AWS Certification.
- Experience with enterprise-scale cloud transformation programs.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud and multi-account AWS environments.
- Financial services or banking domain experience is a plus.
