This role is critical in enabling the rapid growth of our AI-driven automation platform and delivering exceptional performance to our clients. You will champion cloud best practices and guide our engineering teams in building innovative and reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Lead the development of Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates
- Architect and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes orchestration at enterprise scale
- Design secure cloud networking solutions including VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, and network segmentation
- Implement comprehensive DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment strategies
- Establish and maintain cloud security frameworks ensuring compliance with SOC 2, GDPR, and industry standards
- Optimize cloud costs through strategic resource management, rightsizing, and automation tools
- Design and implement data lake architectures and big data solutions for AI/ML workloads
- Establish monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements and guide architectural decisions
- Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies for mission-critical systems
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and evaluate their potential for business impact
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation
- Deep expertise with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud architectures
- Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPC, load balancing, firewalls)
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
- Solid understanding of containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes) and serverless technologies
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and cloud cost optimization strategies and tools
- Experience with cloud security and compliance standards (SOC 2, GDPR)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with data lakes and big data technologies in the cloud
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Multiple cloud platform certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect)
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and MLOps pipelines in cloud environments
- Advanced knowledge of microservices architecture and service mesh technologies
- Experience with advanced cloud-native technologies (Istio, Envoy, Helm)
- Knowledge of financial services or healthcare compliance requirements (PCI-DSS, HIPAA)
- Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures
- Background in enterprise-scale system migrations to cloud
- Experience with chaos engineering and fault tolerance testing
- Knowledge of advanced security practices including zero-trust architecture
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring senior engineers
- Track record of managing cloud budgets exceeding $1M annually
- Experience with edge computing and CDN architectures
- Previous experience in a startup or high-growth technology company
