Cloud Infrastructure & Azure Engineer

Permanent Role

Location: Brisbane Australia

Work: 4 days a week mandatory work from Office and 1 day work from home.

Shift: 8:30AM AEST to 4:30PM AEST

Key Responsibilities

· Design, implement, and support enterprise hybrid infrastructure across on-premises and Azure environments managing 600+ virtual machines.

· Administer VMware vCenter, Microsoft Hyper-V, and SCVMM platforms.

· Manage Pure Storage infrastructure, capacity planning, and performance optimization.

· Lead infrastructure modernization and hybrid-cloud initiatives.

· Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.

· Manage Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, PIM, and identity governance.

· Support enterprise application onboarding, SSO integration, and access governance.

· Deploy and manage Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Office 365, and Defender for Cloud.

· Administer Microsoft Intune supporting 3,000+ devices.

· Secure Azure resources using RBAC, NSGs, Key Vault, and governance controls.

· Manage backup, recovery, business continuity, and disaster recovery solutions.

· Automate infrastructure and operational processes using PowerShell and Azure Automation.

· Provide Level 3 support, troubleshooting, and technical mentorship.
