We're partnering with a leading international SaaS technology organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Platform DevOps Engineer to join their growing Platform Engineering team.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the cloud platforms and developer experience that support a suite of business-critical SaaS products used by thousands of organisations worldwide.

The Role

As a Senior Platform DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in building, evolving, and supporting enterprise-scale cloud platforms. Working closely with Engineering, Security, Architecture, and Product teams, you'll help drive automation, platform standardisation, and cloud-native best practices.

You'll have the opportunity to influence platform strategy, improve developer productivity, and contribute to the evolution of an Internal Developer Platform (IDP).

What You'll Be Doing

✔ Designing and implementing scalable platform engineering solutions

✔ Building and evolving an Internal Developer Platform (IDP)

✔ Developing Golden Paths, reusable templates, and self-service developer capabilities

✔ Defining and improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

✔ Designing and operating Kubernetes-based cloud platforms

✔ Managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

✔ Improving platform reliability, observability, security, and cost optimisation

✔ Collaborating across Engineering, Security, Operations, and Architecture teams

✔ Driving platform engineering standards and engineering best practices

You'll ideally have experience with:

8+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering

AWS in enterprise-scale environments

Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies

GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins and modern CI/CD pipelines

Terraform and Infrastructure as Code

Internal Developer Platforms (Backstage, Crossplane or similar)

Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry and modern observability practices

DevSecOps, policy-as-code, secrets management and compliance automation

Platform governance, DORA metrics and developer productivity initiatives

Strong communication skills and fluent English
