We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure & Microsoft 365 Infrastructure Manager to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure solutions across Azure and Microsoft 365.


This role will lead cloud migration initiatives for Windows and Linux workloads, oversee Active Directory and Entra ID migrations, manage complex Azure networking environments, and govern Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms including Teams, Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, and Power BI.


The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader with deep Azure architecture experience, strong Microsoft 365 administration knowledge, and the ability to mentor engineers while partnering cross-functionally with Information Security, Enterprise Applications, Business Leadership, Manufacturing Operations, and external technology partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end Azure architectures for cloud migration, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and refactoring initiatives
  • Lead Active Directory to Azure AD / Entra ID migration projects, including identity synchronization, conditional access, and SSO integration
  • Deploy and manage Windows Server and Linux workloads in Azure
  • Design and maintain Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, NAT Gateways, VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer, Front Door, Application Gateway, NSGs, Azure Firewall, and DDoS Protection
  • Govern Microsoft Teams tenant settings, policies, meeting lifecycles, and compliance controls
  • Manage Microsoft Intune, device enrollment, compliance policies, conditional access, and application deployment
  • Configure and monitor OneDrive, SharePoint, and collaboration service settings to ensure data security and an optimal user experience
  • Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Graph API, ARM, Bicep, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions
  • Monitor cloud health, performance, and cost using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Azure Advisor, and cost-management tools
  • Ensure alignment with corporate security standards, compliance requirements, and best practices
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for Azure-hosted services and participate in major incident management as needed
  • Create and maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, migration playbooks, and technical documentation
  • Mentor junior engineers and manage external consultants, contractors, and managed service providers


Leadership Responsibilities

  • Supervise a small team of junior Azure engineers and contractors
  • Assign work, review deliverables, and provide technical guidance
  • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures, change-management processes, and cloud security policies
  • Coordinate Microsoft 365 and Azure initiatives across IT, business units, and external partners
  • Support performance management, certification planning, and team development
  • Manage on-call rotations, work schedules, and coverage for critical cloud services


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 7+ years of professional IT experience
  • 4+ years of hands-on Azure architecture, design, and migration experience
  • Experience leading cloud migration, identity, networking, security, and Microsoft 365 initiatives
  • Fluent English required; Spanish proficiency is a plus for LATAM collaboration


Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, AZ-104
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AZ-305
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, AZ-500
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer, RHCE, or Linux Foundation Certified Engineer
  • ITIL Foundation


Required Skills and Experience

  • Deep knowledge of Azure networking, identity, compute, security, and governance
  • Proven experience with Active Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, password hash sync, federation, and conditional access
  • Strong Windows Server and Linux administration experience, including hardening, patching, and lifecycle management
  • Experience managing Microsoft Teams, Intune, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft 365 admin services
  • Proficiency with PowerShell, Graph API, Azure CLI, Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions
  • Experience designing high-availability, disaster recovery, and multi-region cloud architectures
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and manage external cloud partners


Physical and Travel Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move equipment up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight travel
  • Ability to support after-hours maintenance windows, critical incidents, and major infrastructure projects
  • Ability to access data centers, telecommunications rooms, manufacturing facilities, and office environments
