Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Enterprise Architect will lead the technical strategy and architectural direction of Telent's TVMS CCTV Programme. You'll drive architecture governance, lead a team of technical specialists, and work closely with customers and stakeholders to deliver innovative, future-ready solutions.
This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to travel to our Warwick and London offices.
What you'll do:
- Define and lead the technical strategy, enterprise architecture and roadmap for the TVMS CCTV Programme, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and Telent's strategic vision.
- Provide architectural governance and technical assurance across multiple workstreams, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, standardised and compliant with enterprise architecture principles.
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of Solution Architects and Senior Technical Specialists, providing technical oversight across a large multi-disciplinary programme.
- Build trusted relationships with customers, suppliers and senior stakeholders, acting as the technical authority throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Develop architecture blueprints, standards and reusable designs across technologies including CCTV, networking, cloud infrastructure, command and control systems, communications and emerging technologies.
- Drive innovation by evaluating new technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance the TVMS platform and supporting future expansion across the UK.
- Support business development activities, bids and strategic customer engagements, helping shape future opportunities and ensuring technical solutions deliver maximum value.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in an Enterprise Architect or equivalent strategic architecture leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture, governance, technical assurance and large-scale systems integration.
- Strong understanding of CCTV, Command & Control systems, enterprise networking, cloud technologies and associated infrastructure.
- Demonstrable experience leading and mentoring technical teams while influencing senior internal and customer stakeholders.
- Experience developing architecture roadmaps, high and low-level designs, technology standards and strategic blueprints.
- Knowledge of CDM Designer responsibilities and Safety by Design principles, with experience supporting bids, pre-sales and business development activities.
- ITIL / TOGAF certifications
