IT Solution Architect SAP BTP (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the IT and software architecture of SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)
• Define and govern the target architecture for SAP cloud extensions, integrations, automation, AI-enabled solutions and digital workplace solutions across SAP cloud and on-premise
• Translate business and IT demands into sustainable solution designs based on SAP BTP services, clean-core principles, enterprise architecture standards and operational requirements
• Define the Operational Module for the whole BTP Landscape
• Definition of software architectures for customised developments on SAP BTP as well as quality assurance and governance for internal and external developers (incl. shared service centre in India)
• Provide quality assurance for customized developments on SAP BTP, including architectural reviews, documentation standards, development guidelines and handover readiness for operations
• Moderate architecture workshops and align solution decisions with international project teams, technology experts, management stakeholders, implementation partners and service providers

Qualifications

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology or a comparable qualification
• At least 10 years of experience in SAP architecture, SAP development, integration, and cloud-based enterprise solutions
• Proven experience in designing SAP BTP solution architectures, including integration, extension, security, lifecycle management and platform governance
• Expertise in SAP BTP services such as Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, SAP Build, SAP Business Application Studio, Cloud Foundry, Kyma and SAP Cloud ALM
• Expertise in SAP S/4HANA extensibility, clean-core principles, side-by-side extensions, APIs, OData, REST, event-driven architectures and integration governance
• Very good communication and stakeholder management skills
