Cloud Engineer

We are partnering with a nationally recognized technology solutions provider that is looking to add a data engineer to the team. They have a strong engineering-first culture and long-standing enterprise customer relationships. This is an opportunity to work on complex Azure data platform projects, leading migrations and implementations while partnering directly with clients to deliver modern data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.
• Migrate on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure.
• Deploy and configure Azure networking, compute, and storage services.
• Implement Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, and Azure Backup.
• Configure identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Implement Azure security, governance, and monitoring solutions.
• Automate cloud deployments using Infrastructure as Code.
• Troubleshoot complex Azure infrastructure and networking issues.
• Collaborate with customers to gather technical requirements.
• Deliver post-sales implementation and consulting services.
• Document solution designs, implementation plans, and best practices.
• Partner with architects and project teams throughout customer engagements.

Required Skills

• Must live in Portland, Seattle, or Denver
• 5+ years of Cloud Engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
• Experience designing and implementing Azure infrastructure solutions.
• Proven Azure migration and implementation experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, and Azure Storage.
• Knowledge of Azure Backup and Disaster Recovery.
• Experience with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Experience with PowerShell and/or Terraform.
• Strong networking knowledge including DNS, VPNs, routing, and firewalls.
• Experience delivering customer-facing implementation projects.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
