£75,000–£90,000 + 20% bonus + 10.5% pension

London | Hybrid – 3 days per week

We're looking for a Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure Architect who still genuinely enjoys being technical.

Someone who has progressed from a strong Infrastructure or Cloud Engineering background into architecture, but doesn't want to spend their career simply producing designs and handing them over to engineering teams.

You'll work across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, helping an international organisation modernise its infrastructure and integrate newly acquired businesses into a common Microsoft environment.

The role

You'll be involved from architecture through to implementation, including:

• Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud architecture
• Azure Landing Zones / Cloud Adoption Framework
• Microsoft 365 architecture and infrastructure
• Microsoft 365 and tenant-to-tenant migrations
• Integration of newly acquired companies
• Entra ID, identity and Intune
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Azure DevOps and deployment pipelines
• Azure networking and security
• Cloud migration and modernisation
• HLDs and LLDs
• FinOps and Azure cost optimisation

You'll work closely with engineering teams throughout delivery, helping translate architecture into practical solutions rather than simply reviewing designs from a distance.

What we're looking for

The most important combination is:

Strong Azure + strong Microsoft 365 + architecture + hands-on engineering.

You don't need to be an expert across every Microsoft technology.

Experience with areas such as Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Copilot/AI governance, FinOps and multi-company Microsoft environments would be valuable, but these are complementary capabilities rather than the core technical specialism.

We're much more interested in someone who can demonstrate how they've designed, built, migrated and solved complex Microsoft infrastructure problems.
