Responsibilities:
- Provide and maintain solution architecture artifacts based on the business's requirements (including functional, non-functional), and roadmap in alignment with the organization’s strategy and Enterprise Architecture.
- Define and document architectural patterns, standards, and guidelines for application development, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Identify integration patterns, architecture challenges, and improvement opportunities use in domain architecture and retrofit back into Enterprise Architecture for future usability.
- Work closely with Enterprise Architect to define the target state for Software Development and Architecture.
- Provide intensive guidance to the development team to deliver targeted business outcomes, well-designed, innovative, evolutionary architectures, and manage risk to business processes and operations.
- Facilitate problem solving and work with a development team to make them reality.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in application development, and assess their potential impact on the organization’s applications.
- Identify knowledge gaps, learn, and share something new to team and organization, with best engineering practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Solution Architect or in a similar role.
- Hands-on development and delivery experience with a broad mix of languages and technologies, such as Mobile, Web, Microservices, Cloud Adoption, Structured and Non-structured database etc.
- Experience with cloud computing (AWS) in a wide range of services.
- Experience with architectural design whilst leading and inspiring software development teams.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices like Refactoring, Clean Code, Domain Driven Design, Object-Oriented, Design pattern, Enterprise integration etc.
- Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Scrum, Continuous Integration/Deployment, Test-Driven Development etc.
- Ability to break down complex topics into simple to digest information and data points and be adjusted to audiences at various levels.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
