Senior Solutions Architect

Note* This role is based in Munich and will require you to be in office. Please do not apply if you are not open to this.

We're hiring a Senior Solutions Architect – Cloud & AI to support the growth of a leading global cloud technology organisation across Germany and the wider European market. This is a highly technical, customer-facing role focused on designing and delivering large-scale cloud and AI solutions for enterprise customers.

You'll work closely with enterprise clients, engineering teams, technology partners, and senior stakeholders to design scalable cloud architectures, lead AI/ML implementations, and help customers adopt next-generation cloud technologies.

What you'll be doing:

• Design and implement large-scale cloud architectures for enterprise and AI workloads

• Architect solutions across hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, Kubernetes, edge computing, HPC, and cloud-native environments

• Lead the end-to-end architecture of AI/ML solutions including LLMs, Generative AI, computer vision, and MLOps

• Work hands-on to solve complex challenges across distributed systems, data processing, model training, and low-latency inference

• Lead technical pre-sales activities including architecture workshops, PoCs, solution design, and RFPs

• Translate customer requirements into scalable, production-ready cloud and AI architectures

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders within enterprise customers

• Work closely with technology partners, SIs, ISVs, research institutions, and other ecosystem partners

• Advise customers on cloud performance, scalability, cost optimisation, reliability, security, and compliance

• Collaborate with global Product, Engineering, and Architecture teams to adapt solutions for the European market

• Ensure architectures align with European regulatory and data sovereignty requirements including GDPR and the EU AI Act

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years' experience in Cloud / Solutions Architecture, ideally supporting large enterprise customers

• Strong hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Alibaba Cloud

• Strong practical knowledge of AI/ML technologies, including areas such as LLMs, Generative AI, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or MLOps

• Experience designing and troubleshooting complex cloud systems in production environments

• Strong knowledge across technologies such as Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), serverless, hybrid/multi-cloud, HPC, and cloud networking

• Experience with large-scale data technologies such as Spark or Flink is advantageous

• Experience leading customer-facing technical engagements, architecture workshops, PoCs, and solution design

• Comfortable working with senior enterprise stakeholders as a technical advisor

• Understanding of European cloud regulation, data sovereignty, security, and compliance requirements

• Based in Germany and comfortable supporting customers across the European market

• Fluent in German and English

Nice to have:

• Experience designing large-scale Generative AI / LLM architectures

• Experience with large-scale model training, inference optimisation, AutoML, or MLOps pipelines

• Exposure to industries such as Automotive, FinTech, Internet/Technology, Healthcare, or Industry 4.0

• Experience working with multinational enterprise customers

• Experience working within a hyper-scaler or major cloud technology vendor
