Lead Solutions Architect

We're supporting a leading European technology organisation driving large-scale digital transformation through cloud, data, and AI. This is a high-impact architecture role where you will shape enterprise AI strategies, design modern data platforms, and work with senior stakeholders on complex transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Define technology strategies and architecture roadmaps for enterprise data and AI solutions.
• Design scalable architectures across modern data ecosystems, including data platforms, data lakes/lakehouses, streaming, analytics, and AI solutions.
• Advise business and technology leaders on AI adoption, cloud strategy, and data-driven transformation.
• Lead the technical delivery of complex programmes, from architecture design and PoCs through implementation.
• Establish architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks while mentoring architects and engineering teams.

Profile

• Senior experience in Data Architecture, AI Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or Enterprise Solution Architecture.
• Strong expertise in modern data ecosystems, including data modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines, BI and analytics platforms, data quality, governance, and data strategy.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
• Exposure to AI/ML-driven data use cases, including LLM integrations, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and building scalable AI solutions.
• Ability to engage with C-level stakeholders and translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes.
• Strategic mindset with strong leadership, communication, and consulting skills.
• Fluent German and English required.
