Hybrid 3-days from the office.
Job Summary
Assesses and applies new solution designs against defined architecture strategies, principles, policies and standards in alignment with enterprise architecture strategies. Where current strategies and principles do not meet needs, drives changes back to the Principal Solution
Architect. Defines application and solution designs across multiple systems and platforms in coordination with product teams and domain stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Translates business goals into end-to-end solution designs that align with enterprise standards, modern technology practices and measurable business outcomes (such as improved time-to-market, cost optimization, and scalability).
- Architects and delivers cloud-native, API-driven, event-based and microservices-enabled solutions that accelerate business outcomes.
- Applies and adapts enterprise architecture frameworks to ensure interoperability, performance, scalability and reuse in federated and multi-domain contexts.
- Defines solution roadmaps supporting incremental modernization, continuous delivery and alignment with business capability roadmaps.
- Champions reuse through shared patterns, platforms, services and capabilities, driving simplification and cost reduction.
- Collaborates with Principal and Enterprise Architects to escalate systemic technology gaps, influence strategic platforms and drive alignment across domains.
- Promotes secure-by-design and data-driven architectures that enhance resilience, insight driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Builds strong relationships across business, product and architecture teams to effectively promote solution development using standard technologies and future-ready platforms.
- Maintains awareness of emerging technologies, trends and tools, and pilots proof-of-concepts to validate their applicability and value.
- Analyzes infrastructure, platform and application capacities and provides recommendations for emerging needs and technical debt mitigation.

Education, Licenses and Certifications
- College, university, or equivalent degree in relevant technical discipline, or relevant equivalent experience required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
- 6+ years of experience in solution or system architecture in large, complex organizations.
- Demonstrated architecture and design experience, strong knowledge of modern architectural patterns, cloud platforms and integration technologies
