Senior Tech Lead (Solutions Architect)

FMC Research Solutions is looking for a Senior Tech Lead (Solutions Architect) to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive full-stack development experience, a strong background in software architecture, and a passion for mentoring teams and solving complex technical challenges in a collaborative Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable software architecture and system solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while enforcing development standards.
• Lead code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership.
• Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experienced in cloud infrastructure and systems deployment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development
• 5 years as Solution Architect or Technical lead role.
• Strong proficiency in Python, React, and RESTful API development.
• Experience designing scalable software architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, software design patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
