Cloud & Virtualization Infrastructure
- Multi-Cloud Architecture: Deep knowledge of networking constructs in AWS, Azure, and GCP, specifically regarding traffic routing, VPC/VNet peering, and private connectivity.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) management, including namespaces, ingress controllers, service meshes, and pod-to-pod communication.
- Software-Defined Networking (SDN): Understanding of virtual appliances, transparent proxying, and how to steer traffic through inspection or management points.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Practical experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to deploy and manage complex cloud environments at scale.
- Scripting & Programming: Proficiency in Python or Go for interacting with APIs, automating repetitive tasks, and transforming data between systems.
- CI/CD & DevOps Integration: Understanding of modern deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and how to inject automated workflows into the software development lifecycle.
- Modern API Architectures: Expertise in how RESTful and GraphQL APIs function, including headers, payload structures, and authentication protocols like OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.
- Data Governance & Privacy: Knowledge of data discovery, classification, and redaction techniques to manage PII, PHI, and intellectual property.
- Web Stack Fundamentals: Understanding of modern web architectures, including Load Balancers, CDN logic, and SSL/TLS termination.
- Application Performance Monitoring (APM): Experience with observability frameworks (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Datadog) to monitor application health and performance.
- Middleware & Data Plumbing: Knowledge of how to connect disparate applications through message brokers, webhooks, and enterprise service buses.
- Structured Data & Logging: Ability to manage and transform structured data formats (JSON, XML, YAML) to ensure seamless communication between integrated software platforms.
- Full-Stack Troubleshooting: Advanced skills in tracing requests across microservices and using packet analysis to identify application-layer bottlenecks.
- Solution Design & Documentation: The ability to translate business requirements into High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Skill in bridging the gap between different technical silos, such as Networking, DevOps, and Application Development teams.
- Technical Discovery: Expertise in facilitating workshops to uncover a customer’s current state, technical pain points, and success criteria for a project.
