Infrastructure Solution Architect

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an Infrastructure Solution Architect with strong experience in cloud platforms, database architecture, and enterprise infrastructure to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end infrastructure solutions aligned with business needs
• Act as a trusted advisor for stakeholders (DBA, DevOps, application teams)
• Define and document architecture (diagrams and technical designs)
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery (RTO/RPO)
• Lead architecture decisions following enterprise standards
• Serve as an SME in databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Design data solutions including replication, partitioning, and performance tuning
• Define security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies for databases
• Support cloud transformation initiatives (AWS, Azure, GCP, managed database services)
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
• Drive optimization and innovation across platforms

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DBA and/or Solution Architecture
• Strong experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Solid understanding of High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and RTO/RPO
• Experience with data replication and performance tuning
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managed database services (RDS, Azure SQL, etc.)
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience in enterprise or data center environments
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems and microservices
• Knowledge of NoSQL and modern data platforms
• Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure Architect)
• Database certifications (Oracle or MongoDB)
• TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks
