About the role and team

Uber Eats is seeking a Marketplace Operations Manager to drive the reliability and health of our Argentina Retail marketplace. This role is part of the Argentina Local Marketplace team, where you will manage the strategy and implementation of courier enablement and supply availability.

Your mission is to ensure customers receive orders in a timely manner while supporting earners in navigating new grocery opportunities. This operations role calls for a combination of creative problem-solving, operational optimization, data analytics, and project management. You should be comfortable in an \"all hands on deck\" environment, enjoy solving problems and thrive in a startup environment. You will work cross-functionally with Regional Marketplace teams, Product, and Finance to help grow Uber Argentina Grocery and Retail business.

What you'll do

• Enable Retail in Argentina: Lead the Retail marketplace set-up for Argentina, including courier acquisition, onboarding and incentives.
• Data-Driven Insights: Analyze complex datasets to drive key business decisions and aggregate insights that inform incentive structures and marketplace reliability strategies
• Strategic Advisory: Advise senior leadership on long-term strategy by defining critical metrics, developing dashboards, and providing strategic insights
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Regional Operations, Data Science, Partner Management, Finance and Customer Support to ensure marketplace health insights inform broader critical initiatives
• KPI Management: Set and measure key performance indicators for all marketplace health initiatives and incentive campaigns you oversee

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in a related field (consulting, operations, strategy, analytics, tech or analytics)
• Analytical Excellence: Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is required. Experience with SQL is highly preferred, as you will be diving deep into data daily.
• Problem Solving: A track record of using data to break down ambiguous problems and deliver practical business solutions.
• Execution Focus: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion with attention to detail.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience communicating complex data insights to diverse audiences and collaborating effectively across teams.
• Grit and Drive: A \"get it done\" attitude and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Scrappy Mindset: Comfortable rolling up your sleeves - whether that means hosting live webinars, running in-person courier trainings, creating enablement content, or hitting the streets to stay close to the earner experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in tech, on-demand marketplaces, or start-ups. Basic understanding of experimentation (A/B testing) and statistical significance.
