Fullstack Engineer — The Ladders | 2 open roles | 100% Remote, Poland

The CTO is building out a Poland-based engineering cluster — 4 Polish engineers are already on the team, working fully remotely. We are hiring exclusively from Poland for both roles.

We have two open roles. Pick the one that fits:

Role 1 — HR/Recruitment Tech Focus For engineers who have built or maintained job boards, ATS, recruitment SaaS, or HR platforms. Your domain knowledge is a genuine advantage here, not just a bonus.

Must-have: 5+ years commercial experience · 2 production languages (1 backend: Go/Python/Java/Node.js) · React + TypeScript · experience in HR Tech / job board / ATS products · async distributed team experience

Role 2 — General Fullstack For engineers with a strong full-stack track record who want ownership, minimal process, and real product impact. Systems thinking and local-first development mindset required.

Must-have: 5+ years commercial experience · 2 production languages (1 backend: Go/Python/Java/Node.js) · React + TypeScript · proven delivery in distributed async teams

Nice-to-have (both roles): AI/LLM integration · vector search · MariaDB · Kafka · Redis · AWS · Kubernetes
