Most security jobs want reviewers. My client wants builders.

If your idea of Security Engineering is sitting in review queues, approving pull requests, or filling out spreadsheets for auditors, this isn't the role for you.

They're a regulated payments fintech scaling towards banking-licence territory and rebuilding Security Engineering around automation, platform thinking, and shared ownership. They're looking for a Security Software Engineer who can help them scale security through engineering, not process.

You'll work across:

• Payment Cryptography – HSM operations, key ceremonies, PCI PIN, payment key lifecycle management, DUKPT, TR-31/34.
• Application Security at Scale – building automated AppSec capabilities, not manual review queues.
• Pipeline Security – policy-as-code, CI/CD controls, SAST tooling, compliance automation, and developer-first security.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years in Software Engineering (development) and Security
• Strong Java experience (if you can chuck some Go/Golang around too that would be great)
• Experience building and running security platforms/services
• Cloud security expertise, particularly AWS
• Hands-on payment cryptography experience (think PKI, HSM etc)
